- In boiling water add carrots, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.
- Cook on high heat for 20 - 25 minutes and then simmer at low heat for another 1 hour.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Serve it hot.

- 250 grams fresh pork shank (blanched)
- 1 carrots (cut into large pieces)
- 7 water chestnuts (washed and peeled)
- 1 fresh bamboo shoots (sliced)
- 1 Litre of water
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
