CARROT AND CORIANDER SALAD

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • To create flower-shaped carrot slices, as shown, cut several grooves lengthways along each carrot before slicing it.
  • Slice each carrot into very thin slices, using the slicing cutter of a grater.
  • Combine the carrot, celery and coriander (cilantro) in a bowl.
  • To make the dressing, combine the sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar and salt in a bowl.
  • Just before serving, toss the carrot, celery and coriander (cilantro) mixture in the dressing and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 large carrots
  • 4 celery sticks, cut into matchsticks
  • 4 tablespoons roughly chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)

Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
