CREAMED CHINESE CABBAGE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Melt butter in wok, add cabbage stems, stir-fry over low heat 1 minute.
  • Add milk and crumbled stock cubes, cover, simmer until stems are just tender, add blended cream and flour, cook until mixture boils and thickens.
  • Serve cabbage topped with pork and shallots.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bunch Chinese cabbage, Rinse, discard leafy parts, Cut into strips
  • 75 grams butter
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 chicken stock cubes
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 teaspoons plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons barbecued pork, finely chopped
  • 2 green shallots finely chopped
