RICE NOODLES SINGAPORE STYLE

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 10 minutes and then drain well.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a frying pan or wok and make a thin pancake with the beaten eggs. Remove from pan & cut into thin strips.
  • Heat wok and add 1 tablespoon oil. Fry ginger and bean sprouts for 2 minutes.
  • Add garlic, cooked ham and chicken and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add rice noodles and stir fry for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Add salt and chicken stock. Mix well.
  • Add soya sauce and stir over heat for 1 minute.
  • Top with spring onions and egg strips.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 eggs - beaten
  • 100 grams bean sprouts
  • ½ " piece fresh ginger - shredded
  • 100 grams cooked ham
  • 100 grams chicken - shredded
  • 2 flakes garlic - finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 50 grams fresh green onions - finely chopped
