SOY AND SESAME BEEF

Preparation Method :
- Heat a large wok or heavy-based frying pan (skillet) until it is very hot.
 - Add the sesame seeds to the wok or frying pan (skillet) and dry fry, stirring, for 1 - 2 minutes or until they just begin to brown.
 - Remove the sesame seeds from the wok and set aside until required.
 - Using a sharp knife or meat cleaver, thinly slice the beef.
 - Heat the vegetable oil in the wok or frying pan (skillet). Add the beef and stir-fry for 2 - 3 minutes or until sealed on all sides.
 - Add the sliced (bell) pepper and crushed garlic to the wok and continue stir-frying for 2 minutes.
 - Add the dry sherry and soy sauce to the wok together with the spring onions (scallions).
 - Allow the mixture in the wok to bubble, stirring occasionally, for about 1 minute, but do not let the mixture burn.
 - Transfer the garlic beef stir-fry to warm serving bowls and scatter with the dry-fried sesame seeds.
 - Serve hot with boiled noodles.

- 50 grams sesame seeds
 - 750 grams beef fillet
 - 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
 - 2 green (bell) pepper, deseeded and thinly sliced
 - 8 cloves garlics, crushed
 - 4 tablespoons dry sherry
 - 6 tablespoons soy sauce
 - 10 spring onions (scallions), sliced
 - Noodles, to serve
