PORK SPARE RIBS WITH RED BEAN CURD

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in wok. Add ginger, garlic and pork spare ribs. Stir-fry over high heat until brown. Pour off oil.
  • Add soy sauce, sherry, bean curd and stock. Bring to the boil. Simmer covered until tender.
  • Thicken slightly with corn flour if necessary.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger root
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 1½ kg lean pork spare ribs cut in 2.5 cm lengths
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry or white wine
  • 4 tablespoons red bean curd, mashed
  • 750 ml pork stock
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
