Preparation Method :
- In a large bowl combine grated ginger, soy sauce and corn flour.
 - Add meat and mix well. Allow to marinate for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Drain mushrooms, remove stems and discard. Slice mushroom caps.
 - Remove meat from marinade and reserve. Heat oil in a wok over moderate heat.
 - Add ginger and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add meat, bamboo shoots and mushrooms and stir-fry until meat is cooked.
 - Add marinade and heat through.
 - Serve on a bed of rice or boiled noodles.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger root
 - 150 ml soy sauce
 - 4 teaspoons corn flour
 - 1 kg rump steak, trimmed and thinly sliced across the grain
 - 8 Chinese mushrooms, soaked in warm water 20 minutes
 - 100 ml Cooking oil
 - Piece fresh gingerroot, shredded
 - 250 grams canned bamboo shoots, drained and diced
