FISH SLICES IN HONEY SAUCE

Preparation Method :
- Cut fish fillets in half lengthways. Remove any bones. Cut diagonally into strips. Dust with some corn flour just before frying.
- Sieve seasoned corn flour and plain flour into a basin. Blend in water and egg to form batter. Strain and set aside.
- Heat oil with ginger in a wok. When ginger turns golden remove from oil.
- Shake excess flour from fish. Dip into batter. Fry in small batches until golden.
- Drain well on absorbent kitchen paper. Keep warm on serving plate.
- Heat remaining oil, blend in honey. When hot pour over fish and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

- 1 kg white fish fillets
- 4 tablespoons corn flour seasoned with

- 200 grams plain flour
- 500 ml cold water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 500 ml Cooking oil
- 4 slices fresh ginger root
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
