VEGETABLE CHOW MEIN

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add one third of the noodles. Fry until crisp, turning over with tongs during cooking.
  • Drain well and repeat until noodles are cooked. Set aside on a warm serving platter.
  • Heat oil. Add garlic, onion, carrot, bamboo shoots and corn. Stir fry 1 minute.
  • Add mushrooms, cabbage, soy sauce and stock. Cook covered 2 minutes.
  • Stir in blended corn flour and stock to thicken.
  • Serve hot over fried noodles.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 ml Cooking oil
  • 500 grams fresh noodles
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 2 small onions, shredded
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced and parboiled
  • 200 grams bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 300 gram mini corns
  • 15 fresh mushrooms, thickly sliced
  • 300 grams fresh mustard cabbage cut into 3 cm lengths
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour blended with
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
