BARBECUED PORK CHOW MEIN

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in a wok. Add ginger, garlic, pork and stir-fry 1 - 2 minutes.
  • Add vegetables, stock, soy sauce, sherry and sugar, simmer covered for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in blended corn flour and water to thicken.
  • Serve over hot noodles.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger root
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 500 grams Chinese barbecued pork
  • 6 Chinese mushrooms, soaked in warm water 20 minutes and sliced
  • 100 gram carrots, sliced and parboiled
  • 300 grams broccoli floret, blanched
  • 100 grams bamboo shoot, sliced
  • 250 grams bean sprout, root removed
  • 250 ml stock
  • 4 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour blended with
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 500 grams soft fried noodles
