Preparation Method :
- Mix all ingredients of the batter.
- Dip the chicken pieces in egg batter, deep fry till golden brown. Keep aside.
- In a wok heat oil. Lightly fry garlic & ginger.
- Add green chillies and coriander leaves.
- Reduce heat add chicken stock, soya sauce and seasonings. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Add cornflour mixed with water and give one boil. Add fried chicken and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams chicken - cut into 1" square pieces
Egg Batter
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1½ tablespoons flour
- salt & pepper to taste
Manchurian Sauce
- 30 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons crushed ginger
- 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons crushed green chillies
- 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions
- 200 ml chicken stock
- 3 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 teaspoon sherry - optional
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon ajinomoto
