Preparation Method :
- Cream lard and sugar together in a bowl. Add egg, almonds, cashews, vanilla and almond essence.
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Fold into creamed mixture and knead lightly. Shape dough into walnut sized balls.
- Arrange on lightly greased trays. Press each ball to flatten slightly with a fork.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) until pale golden, 15-20 minutes.

- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 tablespoon ground almonds
- 4 tablespoon ground cashew nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond essence
- 500 grams plain flour
- 3 level teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch salt
