CHICKEN CROQUETTES

Serves :

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Coat the chicken pieces with the fish sauce and sprinkle salt and pepper. Keep it aside to absorb seasoning.
  • Make the batter by combining self-raising flour, salt, beaten egg and water. (Add water little by little to obtain a thick batter consistency).
  • Dredge the chicken pieces with corn flour.
  • Dip the chicken pieces into the batter and evenly coat every chicken piece.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  • Fry the coated chicken until light golden brown colour appears. (Turn it once).
  • Remove croquettes from oil and place it on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
  • Serve it hot. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams fresh chicken fillet (cut into small pieces)
  • 150 grams self raising flour 
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 4 teaspoons corn flour 
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce 
  • IDHAYAM MANTRA Peanut Oil for frying
  • Water for making batter 
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
