ASPARAGUS WITH LEMON GARLIC DRESSING

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • In a small bowl, combine garlic, buttermilk, sour cream and lemon peel.
  • Cover and keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Boil the asparagus for 5 minutes or until tender.
  • Drain the water and rinse with cold water and drain again.
  • Cover and chill until serving time.
  • Before serving, Top the asparagus with garlic mixture and mix it well.
  • Garnish with poppy seeds and serve it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 fresh asparagus spears (woody bases snapped off and discarded)
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon skim milk
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½  teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
